help me with proven free flowing goal scoring tactics please!!! keep the town up and keep me in a job!!
A standard 4-1-3-2 is supposed to be good (the 3 being AML, AMR and AMC). No idea about specific player instructions though, might be worth having a looking in the tactics/training forum for ideas.
Who do you have upfront?
Could just be that your strikers cant hit a barn door with a banjo to save thier lives.
You could try criticising thier recent form, or just playing new strikers.
If you have a speedy forward i'd advise having him run with the ball and if you have forward with good jumping and header stats (being strong would be good too) i'd recommend to put him as a target man and for corners make him challenge the keeper.
Once they start getting a couple in its just a game of keeping thier confidence and morale up high, which should help them keep more consistent.
Well I have found using FC's instead of strikers and playing 4-DM-3-2 works very well my three are just MC's and the two FC's at the front. scores plenty and also prevents the players getting through at the back.
I have a tactic that works great for me with a number of teams, it's a 4-3-1-2, with wingers and a centre mid who dictates the play. The attacking mid has a forward arrow to support the strikers and he can't stop scoring. I can upload the tactic once I get home tonight if you would like?
