That is an absolute joke and it happens like every other game and I'm using 8.0.1. Anyone have any solutions and don't say buy better strikers because it don't get much better than Tevez and Rooney and Owen for finishing when needed.

It's a bug that really does need to be sorted out. Everyone keeps going on and on about shots to goal ratio but tbh i don't think we should be scoring more because of the amount of shots I think that the amount of shots should be a fairer reflection of football. Who has ever seen a game in which one team has had over 30 attempts on goal??

In saying that Owen and Tevez only got a 6 so it might just have been an off day.

I've had no problems scoring using 8.01 - in fact, I got Nathan Tyson scoring more than in any previous version of FM! Are you sure it's not your tactics?

I know it's ridiculous, but sometimes I've found that changing tactics in the middle of a game can suddenly make players score when before they would have missed.

It's almost as if sometimes the tactics affect how many shots are taken, but sometimes they affect how many are scored.

Don't stress too much about the shots on goal. It happens because they had to rush out a patch and they didn't test it fully.

I'm sure they will sort it out in the next patch.

Not a dig at you or anyone else who complains about this "problem", but it has happened several times IRL. Take Liverpool vs Sunderland in 2001(?) Liverpool had 31/32 shots and ended up finishing the game 0-0, it happens. It can get my back up when it happens to me (rarely), but you've just got to get on with it.

As for the joke, I found the part where you said Owen and Best Strikers in the same sentence...classic! :eek:
