how many of u keep the same tactics 4 games?

If I'm playing well I'll keep the same tactic all the time, if things start going badly then I start changing things.

im not even joking when i say this, i choose one tactic at the start of the season, basing on where i have strong players, ie if i have many class wingers then i will play 4-4-2 etc, otherwise its all to do with the players1

in the league i always use the same tactic , done 5 seasons with it. 4-3-1-2 with Farrows on DR/DL/MR/ML
on champs at home i always use same tactic, again. 4-3-1-2 with Farrows on DR/DL/MR/ML
on champs away or final 4-4-2 with Farrows on MR/ML

playing with beta patch btw.

of course i make some small tweaks like removing Farrows from DR/DL and sometimes if i need to keep the 1 goal advantage i take the AMC and put an MC and if need to go more defensive then one MC goes for DM position. 5 years using these and winning all trophies with exception of champs, but still managed to win it 2 times in a row. and no, i'm not playing with Barça or RM or Milan etc etc.

I play the same 442 attacking home and away. never changed it. In previous versions it worked a treat by in FM08 I am struggling though.

I have a strong home tactic, a tactic for dominating a team (for when you can't score but have 50 odd shots on target), a tactic for 'shut up shop' and a defensive/cautious away tactic.

Mainly 4-1-2-2-2

Different tactics for different games. These are variations of a theme rather than massive changings in playing style. Always start with 4-4-2.
