Right my free evaluation trial period of winzip has ended, but i want to extract a download.

Will it still work if i use winzip after the evaluation trial ?

Also I thought I would download another winzip trial and delete the old one but when i go to delete the old one it says deleting or renaming winzip may cause some programs not to work, so im not sure whether to delete it,

Anyone out there who can help ?

There are plenty of free alternatives out there.

I personally use 7-zip (google it). Unpacks .zip files and .rar files.

Of course using windows xp you can unpack .zip files without extra software just by double clicking it then pressing extract on the left hand side.
