In a word graphics.... The delightful entities that SI have made so difficult to install correctly that you need a degree in computer technology and terminology to deal with it.

There are several questions on this forum that are keep being asked and whilst there are some answers they are not in basic terminology that a computer numpty like myself can understand, so I thought I would do one thread with these questions so hopefully it will save looking through endless forums to find the answers!!

1. this ridiculous white film on the skin that covers your stadium backgrounds. It's like looking through contact lens in the morning when you have slept in them! Is there anyway we can get rid of the damn thing so our lovely stadium backgrounds show up as they should do?

2. You have awful original kit outlines around your installed ones, and all links to a solution do not work. Yes, I've tried that link at SUSIE and the link for the file you are meant to get does not work. Plus the instructions would confuse Stephen Hawking!! If we have already downloaded kits why do we need to download others???

Any easy instructions to rectify this problem?

3. You have large logos behind the white screen whilst your downloaded logos sit bizarrely at the front.. Again any easy instructions to solve this?

4. The 3 new Premier League Clubs (Sun, Brum, Derby) logo does not appear on the League table, however their Club Badge does appear on their Club Page, any ideas?

5. And one from 1Ronaldo....With backgrounds (stadiums and comps) why do they not change when you click off the page that has the background, when the default background should come up?

Please, please, please can someone help with these in an easy to understand way for us computer dummies? I bought the game on Friday and haven't played a match yet due to trying to sort out all this graphics c***!! Yes, I know you don't have to but it does add something to the game.

So any help would be gratefully received...

And SI why have you made this game so Graphic unfriendly??

1. SI don't even support 3rd party graphics - so you cant really complain about that - just wait until the fmf extractor comes out and then tone down the brightness.

2. I think that is a known bug - but, once again - kits aren't supported - licensing and all that - just either live with the default (pretty good this year if you ask me) or live with the outline until the patch.

3. No idea about this - got a screenie?

4. Actually got a correct config - work fine for me - anyway - its not official SI graphics

5. Never used backgrounds - default looks as shexy as ever :p


The game ain't "Graphic unfriendly" - I actually think its easier this year - just put up with it - SI cant sort out every single individual case of graphic problems that don't actually come with the game otherwise there would be a patch every day to get new styles working!

Easily changed

That was changed to make the 'default' kits recolour properly so that the likes of red wouldn't come out as pink. Again, it should be easy to override.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

Sounds like you are using a logo pack from last year or something, but we don't support third party add ons.

Has that been reported in the bugs forum?

I appreciate your feedback but how are these issues easily changed in a way a total computer idiot like me can understand?
