Huge Database, playable England with all divisions, playable Germany and Spain top two divisions, and top divisions view only for Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, N Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey and Wales. 30 divisions total I think.

4 months in now. Save file is up to 130mb's now but still running much faster than FM06. So long as a save game cleaner comes along sometime I'd strongly recommend this to everyone with a half decent computer.

Wow, amazingly this little trick does indeed give you a large database. Pretty good stuff. It allows me to get Nik Besagno without adding all players from USA! Sadly his dam work permit won't come through.

chaps, i'm playing with a large database. i just need to understand the dynamics around this with regards to what type of players i'll be missing out on.

i'm running the english league (all divs) and the first divisions in brazil, argentina, spain and italy.

how will will game suffer with regards to scouting for players? will it really have that much of an impact?

or is this more of a case of having the max possible options in the future for re-gens?

would really appriecate it if it was explained.

i'm 15 games into a season, and need to know if its really worth re-starting.

I don't care how regens suffer, I felt totally stifled with a seemingly tiny database. I told myself that if this huge option included Dulee Johnson in my game, then it would be the answer (instead of keeping players from just about every country - which just about bought my pc to standstill). Argh wait I've just checked and certain Scottish Prem teams still have only 3-4 real players. Looks like I'll have to run Huge and still retain certain players somehow.

for the effect to take action do i need to start a new game....sounds stupid i knw...just asking....im sure there is no way it updates the current save game...can someone just confirm this.

Do any of you (or someone from SI maybe...) know if this will screw up the game long term, as I dont want to do this then find out in a few seasons time that there are a heap of good / bad / no new youngsters coming through because of this.

Any ideas if this might be unstable long term (as SI have suggested)?

Untill I know this I'll stick with 'large', though I am tempted to use this... we'll see
