Hi people...

Not sure if this is a bug or something I should post somewhere else (I have posted this elswhere but gottn no response). Please Advise!

After having trouble with a long-played game I couldn't bear to start another game in England, and so for a bit of fun (After updating to 7.0.1) I decided to change all the names of the scottish clubs, and move some around (I could not stop SPL clubs official Kits and Badges from appearing in the game) so I swopped them for Scottish Non-League clubs and deleted them.

I have saved the game edited databases at different stages in case something like this happens, and have had to go back to older edits of this database as some of my work causes the game to crash on start up.

I have however been able to get the game to start ok for a while, so carried on editing away. Now that the data is something like I decided to run through a season to check that everything runs as I'd like. However the game gets to 24th August and crashes, and creates a dump file.

What have I done wrong?

I have altered divisional names, country name, club names, city names, stadium names, kits, player names, player ratings, award names, media etc... But the game starts up ok, and only crashes after on 24th Aug! The teams/stadia are based around local teams/leagues in my area!

Please Help.

What could I have altered to get this fault sorted???

Is that an important date for something?

I have spent a long time putting this together!

Any help appreciated!

Certain teams in the game can't be changed/taken out as they are neccessary and have registry entries.

Is it the date of a cup match (like Community Shield in England) or league fixture because that seems the most likely explanation.

If that is the case then it could be down to the swapping of the teams between the divisions if this has changed the league structure so there is an incorrect number of teams in the leagues.

The actual explanation is that league placings won't be set due to the fact that non-league teams are in the Premier and it is crashing when coming to do cup seedings.

You need to set the last division and last position for all teams.

Also, Scotland requires at least 16(give or take 3 or 4, not sure the exact number) teams in the "A Lower Division" league, as these are the teams it uses for the Scottish Cup first round non-league entries.

I should mention that you don't need any teams to be in the "Scottish Non-League and Juniors" division, I dunno why, but this division is not used. If you need teams to add to "A Lower Division" I suggest just changing the division of all the "Non-League and Juniors" teams to "A Lower Division" so that they get the chance to appear in the Scottish Cup.
