Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training stars

A couple of training questions.

Will 2 coaches with eg. 2 stars each in a category equal one coach with 4 stars?

If you have a coach set up like this
skill A: 2 stars
B: 2 stars
total 4 stars

and then you have the same coach set up like this:
skill A: 2 stars
skill B. 2 stars
skill C: 1 star

to me it seems that I get one star for free? or is 2 stars maybe 2+ stars in the first case - so skill A and B training will be more effective in that case.
total 5 stars

Why does it mean he knows nothing about football?.

Just cos he does'nt understand the training set-up on FM 07 it hardly makes him thick does it?.

Leave the guy alone ffs!.

Such conceited posts assuming the other one knows nothing about anything is plain stupid.

The guy is asking about how Football Manager works, not actual football.

Your retort is almost like Wenger has a few sliders which he adjusts befiore the start of every match, and in between

No, the star rating for the training is how good it will be. You need a coach with a 5* rating to get the best training. Two coaches with 2* will still only produce 2*, but they will help spread the workload, which helps cut down on injuries and helps keep the standard as high as you can.

@BigAmzz - like the others have said - what was the point in that post? This wasn't a football question it was a Football Manager question, which is not the same thing. Contribute something worthwhile, or troll somewhere else.

Ok, I am not entirely sur where to post this but I cant find anything about it so I will ask here:

In training I was wondering what attributes I should look for in a coach to sort my set peices out... should I just look for attacking, defending, tactics, man managment and mental as they seem to be the attributes needed. Or is are there any others I should add in?

Thanks...

theres a thread around here somewhere that describes exactly what each coach would need for each training catagory. ill try to find it but the search function is crap

as for your request, IIRC its Attacking and Technique needed to do well on SetPieces, although i may very well be wrong.

Thanks, lol its kinda helps... just trying to work out what looks like a code... only joking I can figure it out.

Also do youknow if there is anyway I can get the board to allow me to get more coaches? I have 5 stars on everything but attacking and set peices (4 star) and I have a big squad so I need more coaches or the workload is to high...
