Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

hey everyone

i'm QPR in my game and i've got a 17 year old who's touted to be the next owen hardgreves. obviously theres a good chance he won't be anythign like him but i'd love to brign him through. just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to bring him through well? give him 1st team action/ loan him out/leave him in the under 18's or stick him in the reserves? or even any trainign tips.

cheers

Andy

I believe you should assign much strenght and aerobic to youngsters. Their stamina can improve even 6-7 points when they reach to their full potential. Also with high strenght training you improve the work rate attribute so the training gets even more efficient. Then you can concentrate in other attributes that you wish to improve. But I advise, never ignore the importance of strenght and aerobic training.

One more little think, give your player some chances in the first team but dont put him directly in the squad for the whole season because then he will think that he dont need to improve himself much in order to play regular first team football. In other words his motivation would disappear.
