I was encouraged by what i read about EAGLEv1. But i'm sorry to say that i still cant find a good enough tactic to keep me playing this game.
Playing as Spartak Moscow (i know not world beaters but one of the best teams in their country none the less) got hammered by CSKA 0-2, though the match stats say it should be more, (i never got one chance in the key highlights) i gave it some time getting hope by beating Luch Vladivostock 4-0 and 0-2 in the cup, but losing to Krylja 2-1, and to drawing with Spartak Nalchik 1-1 at home.
I admit i'm one of those that wants 1 or 2 tactics to use for the entire game. And dont want to be making too many changes during a match, like i did in FM06.
Every tactic i've tried, and thats a lot, that i've got from people on these forum's, gives me the same reults. I can never seem to get a run going, and in terms of shots in a game (whether on or off target) its usually 12-9 or 7-7 or 5-5 or if its away from home it's 12-5 or 7-9 or 15-5. It's just so damn annoying.
I admit i dont have much patience, but i didnt need it for FM06, but that game was'nt a walkthrough. As long as you had good enough players you could find success fairly regularly. And get to the Champions League final once every 3 or 4 years or so. That kept me playing the game almost like my life depended on it.
But after more failure with another tactic (and i'm not saying it does'nt work for anyone else and i'm sure booeagle you've took good time to construct it) i'm giving up once more. I'll probably come back looking for another tactic when i think it's worth it again, but that tactic probably wont work.
