I wonder why Si made FM07 so hard and u have to spend hours to tweak and tweak and finally tweak again to make ManU beat Leicester at home
I dont have,(and i suspect many of us)the free time to trying to beat the AI for hours..where is the fun in that?
It is ridiculous that you spend most of the game looking at the opposition tactic screen waiting for their inevitable change.
A slightly modified 442 or most of the systems filled with world class players, should at least achieve a relatively decent league position, even if no ammendments are made
Nobody is sayin that they want to have the perfect system for eternity but the A.I. is making this game unplayable. Like if i have the lead the oppostion change to 4-2-4,in the end no matter what i do..go super defensive or anuthing u imagine i draw or loose... is this realistic???
i have spend hours tweaking tactics only for the A.I. to make the smallest oppostion play like a team of Ronaldinho's & for my players to make uncharacteristic mistakes...ok every AI manager is a tactical genius but I feel like I'm spending all my time playing catch-up!!
I would suggest that you are doing something waaaaayyyyy wrong if you can't succeed even a little with Man Utd. You provided no real details of the problems that you are encountering. Maybe if you elaborate a little further, someone might be able to help you?...
Invalid, if you dont have too much work on tweakings and tactics, just choose 442 Diamond or 4132. Than make a normal tactic (4132 or 442 Diamond) and just tweak the defenders + def miedfilders, reducing their their mentality and creativity instructions. Do a defensive version taking a forward out and putting a def miedf. to make it easier just give the same instructions you gave to the other DM C. Ah, out the Def miedf man marking on FK's and CK?, and make 1 or 2 set pieces moves. Make a 433 with 3 strikers for an ofensive formation, removing the DM C and putting a striker in. Once again, just give him similar instructions as you gave to the other striker or use the default ones. this should be more than enough for you to win titles without need of tweaking all the time.
Help with tactics can be found in the tactics forum bt if I could give any one line tip it would be set you Ass Man to do team talks. You should b a lot more consistant, even more so if your tactics are correct.
