Go to the manager menu thing and go to "options" third from the bottom.

Theres a tick box for it there.

I'm now starting to be much more consistant getting the ass man to do them.

If your assman has a high motivating attribute then let him do it.

However getting team talks right means that the players start to like you and after a will you will appear on there favourite persons list. This has benefits in agreeing new contracts.

Your assman will be getting the respect of your players, not you.
