Hi.!

In the GQ thread a forum member asked how to make his target man more effective. Well, with my AFC Wimbledon team ill have you know my target man has been immense for me year on year, so i will show what i think i need to of how you can all share the glory of using a target man to good effect.

To be fair he is an awesome player, however you might find that if you team play more direct you will be even better.

I noticed you have him doing the Near Post Flick, how many of those goal were from corners?

Also does he take your penalties?

Yea he is awesome, but his protoge who isnt as good as him does just as good when hes ionjured.

he gets around 5 to 10 goals a season from corners, since i have TWO players on the 'near post flick on' so they kinda get shared out

He doesnt take my penalties unless the Original penalty taker is not on the field, but he does take my freekicks.

how do you setup your other striker? i assume you use a pacey striker for the other one?

I went to the players instructions, on the drop down menu i just selected 'Striker'

To be honest, the second striker is rarely important. he can be fast, slow, big small it doesnt matter.

simply because, he rarely gets more than 10 touches of the ball all game.

But dont think he wont score too. between the 4 Second strikers i had last season, they accumilated 50+ goals. but thats all they do. Score.

The target man does the work, squares the ball, the SS taps it in. Magic.
