Ok here it is,

Is it necessary to change your tactics every season?

I always seem to play well in my first season then for all the season after i will get absolutley dumped on.

I dont see every club in the premier league IRL having to change their formation and tactics to something totally different every season so why should i in game?

I am playing Juventus and I just won Serie A in 2008-09 and reached semi-final in CL (lost 3-2 aggregate vs Barca) and I did it all with Croat's tactics 4-2-3-1
Suddenly in 2009-10 pre-season (6 ganes) and then 5 official games these tactics gave me 1W 3D and 1L...struggling every single match to score or trying to have decent football played. So here I am looking for a new tactic after a wonder season with my boys overperforming and playing amazing Croat's football (thanks to him for the great job)...so YES...same problem here

I've run the same tactic for 5 seasons and won the league each time with Girondins Bordeaux and Barcelona (though it was a different tactic for each.) I think however that some players get bored/complacent with winning and under perform more than the computer figures out your tactic. Henri Saivet seemed to stop caring about Ligue 1 in the 5th season and scored around 10 league goals, when he scored 25 the year before, but he scored 20 Champions league goals (which is a competition we had no won yet.)
