Should I set the pitch size to narrow, wide or the middle setting? With players such as Ronaldo, Nani and Giggs I obviously want to make use the wings. So should I set the pitch to be the widest possible?

Well I'm managing Chelsea and went for the largest possible pitch. In real life teams that like to play football will want a large pitch. Teams that get behind the ball and defend and play long balls like a smaller pitch because it's easier to stop the opposition playing.

With the talents you have at Man Utd I would recommend the largest possible pitch - then your players will have more space to play. At least - that's how it is in real life - whether it works that way in FM is another matter.
I did manager to win the league with Chelsea, as well as getting to the semis of the FA Cup and Champs League - in my first season.

Well i'm using Man Utd, I selected the largest pitch size, it's a lot better as your players get to create more chances. I won everything in my first season. I only bought two players, I used a 442 formation that i used to use in FM2007.

i would set it wide so that they have more space to do their tricks and give them more movement
