I apologise sincerely if there is already a Newcastle thread, but it seems many people are playing as them and to be honest I can't blame them. It's an awesome challenge and a good base to build upon and make a brilliant squad.
I finished my first season in 3rd place just behind Man Utd and Arsenal, which I'm pretty proud of. I was hoping for European qualification but didn't expect to be in a race for second place (Man Utd finished WELL clear at the top).
I'm just about to start my second season and I'm firing on all cylinders in my friendlies. Just beat Benfica 3-0.
