It's very easy to solve this 'problem'. Set an asking price to what you think is realistic. As long as bids are lower renegotiate to the asking price. If the come back you can decide to sell or not.
I always have a problem getting “into” games when I know that there are issues that will be patched. Yes I know the patches are save game compatible, but they just feel tainted. But I know in a couple of months when we get the final patch I will start a new game as an LLM and probably run it for 20-30 odd seasons. As for running with Liverpool well it’s just a bit of fun before the real challenge begins.
Just a quick aside, as Liverpool I obviously had to play 3 qualifying rounds to get into the CL, Won all 6 of those games, I also won my first 5 league matches. Including a 1-0 against Arsenal when they played me off the park. Suddenly my reputation is world class, WTF I have been running the club for less than 2 months and I have gone to world class. The mighty Basingstoke will be lucky to have me when I rejoin the ranks of LLM

Not the latest one, I’m going to wait until the second more substantial patch comes along, I am not worried about my reputation going up I am really playing Liverpool more as an arcade game then a challenge. It’s a bit like playing Grand Turismo in arcade mode than in career mode if you know what I mean. Still fun but not a real challenge.

I'm still waiting to see what time I've got to up Sunday morning. It'll be very early over in the west. I've got to say, I'm ot overly confident at the moment.
Who hasn't been a chisel fan at some stage???? Can't say I listen to them regularly these days though.
It will be a 6pm kick off in Uruguay so about 4am in WA or 6 am in Qld and 7am in NSW and Victoria. After the way our guys were treated last time they went there I hope to beat them, but it is but a hope.
Thought you might be a fan by your location. I'm like you and enjoy the memories of my youth when they get played on the radio.

6am it is then? Sad thing is I've been getting up around 5 because of my 6 month old's sleeping habits, but on Saturday night we have a 30th birthday party to attend with baby sitting duties taken care of by the in-laws (morning sleep-in included)...
Oh, the irony.
Go 'roos

Well I had my play with liverpool ... boring as f@ck.... I won my first 27 staight compeditave matches... I was almost relieved when I drew away from home with Udinese in the CL... No mega stars signed ... standard tactics .... It thaught me my lesson. I'm going back to Basingstoke. Okay so I have 300,000 more in the bank than I was expecting but I got promoed via the playoffs in the first season so I might need a bit of help to stay up in the conference National!
Ah it's good to be home... I'll try to get a quick hour in before hitting the sack..

I got promoted from conference north and at the end of the season my Striker was attracting interest.
His value that was calculated by the game was 250K  He had 30 goals in 40 games that year. When a team came for him I slapped a 2M price and they did not follow interest. Then Wallsall came and offered me 2M for him.

My star-striker is worth 30K, and he's been putting them away for fun. No interest so far, but they usually come running in the summer.
Star-midfielder worth 22K. Put the tag on 1M, and they came after him
Got an offer of 2.5M on another player in Jan after a negotiation. This stuff is just silly. I guess the AI goes way overboard to try to sign good indispensable players.
I've seen them go quite crazy with AI buys too, but not 1M-bad. Perhaps they would though if the AI set the value that high.
Good to have you back Hogie

Thanks Pangaea, tis good to be back... Well in that quick hour before hitting the sack I got reminded of what LLM is all about. A home defeat when I was kicking the other teams ass and then I was demolished away from home.
Since then things improved dramatically. 6th place currnetly in the Conference National (20 games played)... So now I am complaining not only is the transfer market too easy but the game play is too easy too.
Ho hum what would we do on these boards if it wasn't to complain about SI?
