I spoke too soon about clubs running away. January window and they offer £1M for my star midfielder, although star is really pushing it when keeping in mind this is Scottish 2nd Div
Fortunetely for me money wasn't an issue so I could afford to reject, but if this is the norm getting out of a financial hellhole is pretty easy. The majority of my players are valued £0-2K, and the said player was valued at £4K at the time. Offering £1M is beyond insain, even though the guy was playing great.
Anyone know if this is toned down in the newest 6.0.1 patch?

It does take all the fun out of LLM if you aren't struggeling financially!!
Has SI mentioned anywhere that they are looking at this issue?

Second Hogie - it's way too easy to get out of the financial hellhole that is LLM. It used to be an insane kick to finally get in the blacks, now I feel like cheating. Hope they sort it out. I'll link to this thread in the bugs forum, if I can't find it mentioned already.

Yep I feel the same way. What am meant to do turn down an offer of half a million cause I think it's too much...

£1m for a centre back that has only played half a season of regular football, aged 20 - valued at £3k, from a struggling top division side.
£250k for a 31 year old centre midfielder from a team who got relegated from the top division soon after.
£100k for a 27 year old foreign left back (who couldn't get in my side regularly) from a club in his home nation, who I paid £4k for a season and a half ago.
Seems like a problem to me...
Which team were you playing with BTW?

tobias: I've got 6.0.1 too, but was thinking of the last patch released a few days ago. It still goes by 6.0.1, but has some different numbers after that..
Seems like the sums bigger teams are willing to pay are too much connected to how players perform. If this isn't changed in the said patch, it should be in the upcoming 6.0.2

That's hardly a bug though, tbf.
If clubs are buying players according to how these players perform (and not according to their PA), that's progress in my eyes.
That's how human managers buy players - at least those who don't cheat by checking PA values etc. According to performances as evaluated by the scouts.

Yeah, true. But it has to be within certain bounds. Just because a player has AvR of 7.50-8.00 doesn't necessarily mean he's a world beater. It means he performs well within the system he's playing in. When a player worth 4K get 1M offers there is something terribly wrong. 100K I can understand, perhaps even 250K for a really good one, but 1M is beyond insain.
Just to take a little comparison. Rosenborg here in Norway has been untouchable untill last season. Many players on the national team, and some went abroad to fairly decent sides. The problem was they had been raised in the Rosenborg-model of play, they knew little else. That's why a DMC and AMR played brilliantly in Norway, but when they went to Germany the were cack and got little playing time.
Anyway, the point is it seems to be too easy to sell some players for lots of dough. But I trust SI is on top of it.
