Well it has happened!
Why would I lie? I'm not bragging about it. It is nothing to do with my skill at this game. despite all the good players and money i'm still only 2nd in the conference.

Just finished my first season in Norwegian Div2, and I'm having the same crazy sales occuring in my game. Players valued at £1-3k sold for up to £700k - more than 20 times my whole squad's total value. For the fun of it, I set my most promising and consistent players (18y/o LB) asking price to £1M, 4 games into the new season he's wanted by 3 premiership clubs. It's totally weird. Something for the bugs forum?

tried it in the bugs forum, no reply.
tried it in the GQ forum, got accused of making it up. posted screenshots of all transfers in and out. got accused of cheating.
So, it seems no one actually cares if conference south players can be sold to premiership clubs for £1m or that premiership players with international caps in the last 2 or 3 years are willing to drop all the way to the conference national, some of them even choosing my club over much bigger clubs!
oh well, i tried.

Biggest LLM transfer after 1 2/3 seasons I've seen in 06 is a Billericay Town player (doing a Chelsea in Conference South) being sold to Hibs for £60,000.
Nobody is coming after my half decent players, not even my striker who is scoring goals as if his life depended on it.
Seems like we have opposite ends of the scale here Will.

it certainly seems strange that only me and one other person so far have experienced this.

| I sure care if that turns out to be a general issue. I'm sure we'll know how common that is in a few weeks time when more llamas have played a few seasons.

Had a peek in your thread in GQ. If that is correct, it is a serious bug. 1M for Conference players is a joke.

1M for Conference players is a joke.
| the first sale i did that aroused my suspicion was 1.3m for a conference north player!
i really hope it isn't common, but one or two other people have said they've experienced the same thing in the GQ thread.
at some point i will have to start a new game and reject bids that are stupidly high, and not get players that are clearly far too good and would never go to the conference. although it's still fun at the moment, i'm sure the novelty of winning every game will soon wear off.
