What? A new season already?

2012
I have a surprise for you. We won the league. Haven't got the faintest idea of how we managed it - but we did. Won it by six points of the second placed team, and are by that the only team from Norway in the next seasons Champions League.

Got kicked out of the UEFA cup and Norwegian Cup. Cups suck arse.

Oh, England won the World Cup.
__________

Now I'm a little bit lost... Should I do another season, then jump ship and get myself a new club or should I just continue with Eik Tønsberg and see how far I can take them..?

IMHO, you should do at least one more season, just to see how well you do. If you feel that you have gone as far as you possibly can with them, look for a new challenge. If not, take them further! It's all about how much you are enjoying being where you are really.

Hey I have a question for you, I also started off as a 3rd Division team in Belgium, but I also have done very well and got a promotion to 2nd division my first year. That first year I was selected as relegation battlers by my board and fans. So my promotion was a surprise to me. This has happened the last 3 years in 2nd division even though I placed 5th and 8th, did you find the same thing happened to you? Relegation battlers throughout your Belgian seasons?

If I was you I'd stay at Eik Tronsberg and see how well you can do in Europe. It should be a new challenge and I'm guessing pretty difficult.

Good luck.

Yeah. The board and my fans rated the team as *****, and therefore expected us to struggle.

Damn I hate that, it's annoying and keeps people from signing with me and it also makes the odds illogical.

2013
Fourth place in the league. Not bad really, think it will be intertot next season. The cuprun was (once again) a failure, being booted out of it in the third round.

Then something surprising - the Champions League-run.
CLQ1: Kaira (kaz) 2-0/3-0
CLQ2: Dinamo Kiev (ukr) 0-1/1-0 (won on penalties)
CLQ3: Debrecen (hun) 3-0/1-0

Ok - we did it. We're in the Champions League group stages. Ended up in a group together with Bayern München, Charlton and De Graafschap. After a tremendous CL-run (with a win against Bayern( )) we ended up third and was sent of to the UEFA.

In the first knockout-round we're facing Krylja Sovetov. If we beat them, we're up against either Espanyol or HSV.

Oh, Royal League sucks. :thdn:

What? A new update already?

2013/2014
As you might have noticed, the season-year have changed. I was approached by Derby - and as I felt my time at Eik was drawing closer and closer to the end, I accepted.

My new place of work is now Pride Park and Derby. They are currently in League One and we will be aiming for promotion next season.
