2009/2010
After a good start in the cup, we got of with a lousy league-start. This got better during the autumn, giving us a good grip around the fifth, sixth, seventh-spot... After all of the 34 games had been played, we ended up sixth with 57 points.
For the first time we came longer than fourth round in the cup. This time the cuprun ended in the sixth round after a 0-1 defeat by Genk.
We sold our 16 (now 20) year old wonderkid to CSKA Sofia for a huge amount of cash. This left me with a wide open space in the midfield, but it wasn't really a big problem. Got a new wonderkid, who was touted as the New Italian Spitter by the press. The Spitter quickly entered the scene and did what he was told. Scoring a few goals, and doing really well.
2010
I was offered a new job. The job as Eik-Tønsberg-manager in Norwegian first division (aka Adeccoligaen). This was before the league in Belgium started so I gave it a week of thought, and ended up in Ol' Norway. The team wasn't the best, and we were struggling to avvoid relegation.
We ended up 12th. The spot above relegation-zone. Next season will only improve.
2011
A spectacular season! We overachieved both in the cup and the league. After some extraordinary leaguruns, we ended up second and secured promotion to the premier division. The board even agreed on giving us some better training facilities. For the first time in this game I've actually enjoyed the cuprun. We demolished Strømsgodset in the final. Yes, we won. I cannot believe it. We won.
Next season will be a hard one, but a fun one. Hopefully we will stay in the premier division, and won't bring any shame on our country in the UEFA cup. More to come, more to come!
