This is something I have been working on for a while, and wanted to wait until my 4000th post to put it up but I may not make it to 4000 so up it goes now. Without wishing to disparage the current crop of LLMers, the Forum is worse off without 9Lives, Brody and Double Dickie posting here - and BiB for that matter. From the guys that dragged the LLM Forum back like a Phoenix from the ashes there's probably only Evo, WingCo and myself still posting regularly.<P>Times change, things move on but reading the threads on Jeff's post brings back some nostalgic memories.<P>*Raises glass* "Absent friends!"
LoL A Wocko - Where's Zaq when you need him?<P>There were some very funny references in that thread, particularly regarding the number 42.<P>And the Doc's problem page was always a favourite of mine. Shame the Doc couldn't be arsed maintaining it, or perhaps it was boring everyone except me.
Many thanks King Jeff, as a newbie in LLM, reading some of those threads has been very enlightening.
And to those that have said the forum is worse off without your "absent friends", having seen some of their posts in the highlighted threads, I would agree. I had a really good laugh at Claret's Peterhead thread.
I just hope the newer posters on this forum realise the legacy left by those people mentioned earlier - I have.
