And Flosi, we ARE the LLM forum, we wouldn't rebuff you if you asking about that club the guy started up, unless it was some of the newbies who hadn't heard about it.

I wonder if his football club ever made it. Would have been nice if he came back to let us know.

Only thing I can remember reading about it is this old thing.

All of the links have bitten the dust, unfortunately. But confirmation that Pete was right. MrIceland was his name.

It's too bad SI didn't just leave our little corner alone, and purge every one else. I imagine there is more history here than in most other areas.

There is a nice little info about all clubs in iceland. however, it is in their language, so I don't understand ****. However, I did send an email to KSI (www.ksi.is) with a request for all teams established in year 2000 or after.

This is what I love about this forum
I mean, what are the chances? Someone takes over the obscurest LL team on the planet and it turns out a member's uncle blah blah blah. FM truly is a global village

That thread was started around the time I joined the forum. It's funny that those of us who joined at that time me, B_B and others are now long timers around here.

A bit of a rant, but allthough we had guys like Evo around to flame n00bs I can't remember not feeling welcome. ****es me off when todays n00bs complains about being flamed. Follow the ****ing rules of the forum, it aint that bloody difficult.

Brought back some memories though
