Season 2018-19
6 players in for $250K
3 out for $1.1M
Conference National W23 D12 L7 Pts 81- 1st- Champions
FA cup – 4th round loss to Bradford City 0-2 in replay
FA Trophy 3rd round loss to Marine 0-1
As expected, we secured back to back promotions. We sat on top of the table for most of the season, with only a slight drop in form around Jan-Feb. A few tweaks elicited the desired response, and we ran out comfortable winners in the end. I was also pleased to pick up the Manager of the Year Award.
The strikers shared the goals around, and Young Striker from PSNI was the top scorer in the league with 15. (He is becoming one of those players that make FM really engrossing, I feel like I raised him from the backwaters of Northern Ireland). My attacking midfielder was amazing all season, finishing as the Conference National Player of the Year with an incredible average rating of 8.22 over 37 appearances, including 16 MoM awards.
So League Two- is this still LLM? Not sure, but it’s still fun. I am constantly blowing the wage budget but the Board are happy enough with the results. It could be a different story when we don’t romp through League Two.
PSNI finished an impressive 3rd in N.I. Div 1, just one point short of promotion. I like to think that I definitely laid the groundwork, and not at all that I held them back.
It may be some time until the next season though, as I am off to Italy with some other pooves .

It's still LLM if and when you reach the Premiership, provided you started in the lowest level available and played in the LLm spirit. You sound good on both accounts though, so KUTGW.
Our first season out of the Conference was spent hovering on the fringes of the play-off spots, threatening to get a place before stalling on the last match day and missing out by a single point. The striker who joined two seasons back top-scored in the league with 19 goals. Bizarrely, Charlton offered to loan him out for 3 months in the off season, paying his entire wage for the period. Young Striker from PSNI chipped in with 9 goals. My attacking midfielder with the 8+ average last season again picked up Player of the Year award.
Overall not a bad season, play-offs or promotion looking a definite possibility next season. Apparently this was a club record high finish, so the board and fans are well pleased.
League Two W17 D19 L10 pts 70- 8th Position
FA Cup 4th Round
League Cup 2nd Round
LDV- 1st Round
With finances looking good after the transfer market action through the season, I’m hoping for some big new signings to get us promotion next season.
I've just started Gainsborough for patch 6.02 fm 2006
at christmas we're top, no money spent and 10,000 in in transfer fees.
I've found using a diamond with wingers and switching from target men with pace set to run onto the ball Karl Noon/ target man big kevin francis set to head really successful at scoring goals and keeping it tight.
out of the FA cup against bradford in round 1 but still going in the FA trophy
