I don't possess a copy of CM4, but I was quite late buying 01/02 and still have plenty that I haven't tried in there. The general reaction in this forum to the early releases of CM4 was pretty negative, but 03/04 seems to have them a bit more satisfied. If you have a look around, I think there are probably already a few threads on this subject hanging around.
bah...01/02 all the way, which I think is a pretty sad commentary on the CM4 series, because I'm secretly (or not so secretly) in love with the 2D pitch and still can't play it...I hear the latest novel and exciting bug with 4.1.3 is the deletion of your previous match summaries after 5 days...not just highlights and such, but no goal scorers, player list, anything..

I haven't played a game w/ 4.1.3 yet, I've just read about it on the forums, so clear something up for me -
I understood from my reading of the forum posts that not only were highlights deleted after 5 days, but the entire match summary including ratings, goal scorers, who played, etc. - in essence that after 5 days the 'last match' button was grayed out and all you could discover about a match was the score. Is that incorrect?
I can understand questioning the sanity of someone who wouldn't play 03/04 because they couldn't view 2D pitch highlights after 5 days, but surely you would like to have at least some data from your last match before selecting your players for the next?
Kaiserf. You have your players' form and their condition. What else do you need...pictures? There's an .exe fix out today.
Humph3. I have Conference to EPL and Division 3 to SPL loaded on Large Database and it's waaayyyy faster than v4.1.2. No way it's 01/02 speed, but it's a big step forward.

Thanks Iajafer, just picked it up...and no I don't need pictures, but I do suppose I'm a bit overboard as I often check the stats from the last match for players who have similar form. Example: DC1 has 6.2 avg. rating and a 7 in the last game while DC2 has a 5.9 avg. rating and a 7 as well. However DC2 had 4 key tackles and a key header in the last match while DC1 only had a key tackle..i'm sure you see where i'm going with this. I do a lot of other stuff while playing CM so it hard to remember that kind of thing sometimes.
(of course if a DC has 4 key tackles he probably has an 8, but you get the point)
