I know about the whole floodgates thing but there is a difference between naming tottenham's Dutch top man and naming his younger eqivalent at Man City (who may well be still playing in some older versions!)

In my opinion, which likely doesn't count for much, I feel like staff and ex-players really shouldn't be named, either, simply due to the floodgate scenario.

I really don't see the difference in naming a player who became a manager, no matter his age in the version of the game, because people do play previous versions of the game. Naming any personnel is just inviting someone to start naming their new signings, since they see other names in here.

Obviously this is just one man's opinion, and I don't hold much weight.

Personally I don't mind the naming of staff, floodgates or not.
