In my Swedish 2nd Division current save the opposition GK did an impression of the famous South American stopper and took a free kick on the edge of the box powering it round the wall and into the corner of the net!!!!
I put my youth keeper in because I was short, and he repaid me by dribbling with the ball out of the box and skinning players at every opportunity. Of course, he kept letting them score, but he got a contract immediately after just because he didn't let his first team debut phase him

Heh, my starting keeper (made last year's First Division Team) has been letting in 1.3 goals per game. He goes down with an injury. My 3rd keeper goes down. Okay, Mr. 2nd keeper... your only goal this week is to *not get injured.* And of course, he strains his neck getting milk from the fridge or something.
So I have to play my crappy youth keeper. Two clean sheets. Go figure.
It's not so much of an unusual occurence, but a strange sequence of results. In 2010, in my save, Iran won the world cup, beating Brazil 3-1 in the final. One of the Iranian strikers won th golden boot. :eek:
In about the 3rd or 4th minute of a game in my current save, i was 7th in the Conf North with Redditch and played the team in 5th. Must win game basically (now ive slipped to 12th but anyway).
My striker through on goal, got decked, red card and penalty. Missed. One of my players gets the rebound and gets decked, another penalty! No card shown and a different player took the kick and scored.
