Poland just won the 2006 World Cup final against Spain 1-0 in my new game. Brazil didn't even make it past the group stage and England went out first know out round.
Also a few weeks back one of my players scored a hattrick in a league game (I know, its like something out of the X-Files!)

In a recent (ie. last match before I saved last night ) classic 6-point promotion battle match one of the opposition players banged in 5 first half goals - 2 were disallowed for offside
There was a bit in today's paper about a Stirling Albion player who is apparently fighting for his live after having contracted a rare viral infection derived from glandular fever, or something along those lines.
In a previous version of the game, I had a crucial playoff game I wasn't expecting to win. I had one of my first choice strikers out and he was replaced by a kid who'd done very little and been in and out of the team all season. The kid runs riot, scoring four goals in the first half and three in the second for an 8-0 victory. Ridiculous. The commentary told me he was staking his place for a regular spot. Do you think so?
On the weekend during our clan game, I beat a team 3 nil and the server crashed. In the "replay" the score was 3 nil the other way, a turnaround of 6 goals. I thought this unusual.
