We used to have ball boys for that sort of thing!! :bragging:

Most grounds had advertising hoardings so you didn't have to run miles when some donkey of an opposition striker belted one wide of the post, it just bounced back - brilliant

Come to think of it, I've had this one thing happening in my save:

Remember my fettish for quality FLCs and centering play on them?

I'm sure the clanners at least will.

Well, I've devised a new tactic for my new team, as I no longer can think of playing ugly anti-football with the talent I've inherited.

Funniest thing is that after working out the tactic I've put my most talented player in that FLC spot with instructions that should favour major involvement in play building for him and result in his partner take profit from it.

The result? Aforementioned flairy player does feck all but tap in the incredible setups his suposedly lethal finisher partner builds.

Crazy, I tells ya!!

He scored a hat-trick of penalties, and missed a fourth!!!

Almost the exact same thing happened to me. Except my star striker missed a hatrick of penalties but scored the fourth! I kid you not!

yeah I think you are right. It should read "that Ghanian-American wonderkid who lies about his age" though maybe we should call him a wonderman

You ever heard of the "serious viral infection"?
