Finished the season in a confortable 15th place, with 50 points.


Topscorer had 14 goals, he was fans player of the year aswell.

Goals: Stay clear of relegation

Brought in 5 players (9k); sent away 3 fora total of 1k.

Relegated on the last matchday, after losing to Eastleigh Resigned immediatly after that.

Recicled myself at the start of the Korean season, after just 8 and a half months of unemployment: I'm now manager of Gangneung City, who finished last (14th) last season (2007) in the Korean K2-League.

Goals are to rebuild the squad and attract new players over the season.

Season 2008 - Gangneung City / Holland U21s

Expectations: Rebuild the squad and attract new players over the season.
Transfer Budget: € 65k

Brought in 9 players, for € 24k (including a very good CB and some youths), and 18 players left the club (total € 1,5M) (sold my star striker (who is now on the transferlist at his new club, for 1k :o ) for 1M, and my LB for 500k).

Had a fantastic season, won the first period, thus qualifying for playoffs. Finished 3rd in the 2nd period. Lost the playoff 7-0 over 2 matches, vs Incheon . No promotion. Still, after this expectation-breaking campaign, the board are dissapointed at losing the playoff.

Topscorer was the striker that left, with 10 goals in 9 games. His replacement scored 5 in 12 games. CB I signed was 3rd player of the season.

After winning the first period, got offered the Holland U21s job, I accepted. So far I'm first in my EC U21 2010 qualifying group \o/ (group consists of Holland, N. Ireland, Georgia, Ireland, San Marino and Greece)

Season 2009

Gangneung City: 2nd in both periods. I feel I can't take them any further

Holland U21s: After winning my group, I lost in the U21s EC 2010 qualifying playoff, 5-2 on aggregate to Portupoofland.
