Default Hereford Utd - Lets hope for more than a couple of cup shocks

Hi, I have been playing CM/FM for a number of years now but have never started with a LLM team with the ambition of taking them all the way to Premiership and Europeon glory so here goes. I know that strictly speaking Hereford are not in the lowest English league but I hope as this is my first time that the traditionalists will go easy on me. I will try to follow all the other guidelines.

Hereford start off as promotion contentders in the media's eyes but the fans and board only expect a reasonable league position. There are no tranfer funds and the club has a bank loan of 1.3 mill but it will be paid off in 2008. There are a couple of decent players at the club to build a team around so I am reasonably confident that with a couple of loans and free transfers I should be able to get promoted at the first time of asking. I'll keep you informed of my success.

Just follow the yellow brick road and say "There's no place like home...there's no place like home..."

Good luck. Good to see a new LLaMa, even with a Conference team

Mr Oz, hello

Couple of points - updates are acceptable after completing 3 seasons. There's no point introducing yourself and your campaign if your going to be off for a couple of weeks getting your update sorted out.

Secondly, yes, we do start in the lowest possible league, but we do accept that a newbie would like to get their teeth into playing the game LLM fashion in which case the Conference National is acceptable. But that's only supposed to be a taster to see if you like LLM. If you want to have a go at Hereford - that's fine. But if you want to have a campaign and not incur the suspicion of some of the regulars - be a man and have a go from the basement leagues.
