Has anybody else noticed that when you are a lower league english team, loaning players from other teams who aint in same area as your club is impossible.

At the moment i am Grimsby 1st Season, 14th League 2.

The loan players i have at the moment are from Leeds, Oldham and Sheff Wed. Couldnt get players from the likes of Luton, Bristol City,Brighton.

Quite realistic i think. Although some guys playing in the Conference N/S managed to loan in players from Premiership clubs, which sounds a bit too much.

What Kostis said, however Grimsby would not be classed as a Lower League team on this forum.

Well, non-British LLMers might have problems with English geography. So, i for one don't expect to loan in many players any time soon

I have slight problems with the Swedish geography

(I did get highest grade in geography in school, though )

Tbh, if a non-UK player of FM does find a player outside of his region, I wouldn't sweat on it.

I like the geographical realism of loanees coming to our lower league clubs only if they can be back at mum's in time for tea.

Managing Bradford PA I did get a pair of youths come from two nearby Premiership clubs for three months and other loanees from lesser clubs around Yorkshire and Lancashire. No one from down south - seems fair to me.

Why not?? They are in a lower league... have serious money probs... a team that was once slightly better than they are now...I think maybe they should be counted... Then again, they do have a better rep than NoHope Utd FC....

Last time I checked there were some leagues below the one Grimsby is playing (them being in League two and we staring at Conf N/S level...).
