Im thinking of starting an LLM with only scout searches to find players and obviously no cheating! I was wondering if people thought looking at the top average ratings in divisions is considered cheating? As player of the month and there are newspapers like non league paper that give reports and name players playing really well etc! Just wanted to know what people thought and wanted to know if people have ever reached premier league with there LLM team? is it possible to get that far with say weymouth without any cheating?

It is possible. Very difficult with some teams, not so hard with others.

It is ok to get names of players from stats pages within your own league only. Then of course send your scout to report on the player before making a bid.

It is not ok to get names from looking through club lists or scouring other leagues (though it would be unlikely you'll be able to lure the top goalscorer from the division above anyway ).

If you haven't already, read the header before you say or do something incriminating.

what are stickys? Ive read the LLM code and guide, and dont LLM's feel its silly when they get there non league club into the championship or premier as its completely impossible in real life?

I got Harrogate Town from Conference North to Premier League.

I would say it should be possible irl. If the club has a owner who wants to invest, a ground with enough room for (fast) expansions and a capable manager together with a good backroom staff (coaches, assistents and, most important, good scouts) it should be possible to bring a club from the Conference North to the Premier League.

I must say I find the pace at this occurs unrealistic sometimes...not to suggest that there has been any cheating going on! :o

It still seems to easy to move through the leagues at times with little or no squad improvment!
