You know, being accepted implies being respected and you're hardly going to earn some respect entering someone's place and telling them how to act, then 'trying' to educate them and implying you're the best thing after sliced bread was discovered.

Sorry, but it just doesn't work that way here. Perhaps on teenager boards it does, but not in a place where the average poster is 29 years old, is married and has a 5 year old kid who behaves better than you do.

Not that I'm having a go at you (not more than you deserved, to be honest). Many a regular poster here stepped in the same fashion you did. Just relax and forget about trying to be the centre of attention. Spend some 5 hours reading some threads (not just updates) and the stickies. Try to comprehend the LLM ethos and you might even turn out a decent poster.
