I tend to play as Aberystwyth a lot in my free time. Best I managed was 9 straight league wins before being so frustrated with the lack of any improvement in the team I resorted to the editor to inject excitement into Wales.
Now Wales has the British Superleague including the London Barons (Charlton), MK Dons, Aberdeen Raiders, Leeds Rhinos (Created from a low league club) and some other half baked teams who never ever get into Europe. I also added in some B Teams to the list from English clubs...(Chelsea, Tottenham, Villa, Newcastle) Being Welsh has affected these clubs a lot...Chelsea are in the CHampionship (No changes other than a B Team in Wales to them),Villa, and Newcastle are in League 1, and Tottenham are in League 2!
Just once before I left my nine season reign of terror, though, I managed the PERFECT season. 34 games on the trot won. And you STILL only get £2000 for winning the league!

At risk of falling into a 'wind-up' trap:
1. RTFFH,
2. Editors are the work of Satan,
3. Don't bump your head on the way out.
Have a nice day |
