Watch that tongue of yours, cup-sucker

Although I imagine that in a league as god-awful as Wales, they are more important.

In any case, KUTGW  and maybe next year aim to lose the league to get into the UEFA groups

It's a serious point, it would probably be a lot better to be in the UEFA cup. Although I do get some decent gate receipts from playing my CL home games at Wrexham.

Revives memories of the challenge we had in the hut a while back. CM03/04 wasn't it? Anyway, a couple of people won the Champions League with Welsh teams.

That was a nice save indeed.

/me drops tear

However, I'm quite sure it would be next to impossible in FM2005.

That's valid, but there are about 12 of them

And remember, just because Cups don't suck arse in general, that doesn't necessarily mean all cups don't. Like the Vans Suck Arse Trophy™, for instance.

I'm only playing with a 'normal' DB but I don't seem to be affected by the scouting issue as much as some others. Or maybe I do but I just don't notice it. Could it affect some leagues worse than others?

i took charge of TNS on CM01/02 and managed to win the UEFA cup with them- i beat Schalke 3-1.
I won the welsh league back to back for 5 years and eventually gave up because it became rediculous- my team in its prime contained Rivaldo, Julen Guerrero and Zizou (all on frees) which felt a bit daft. i think ill give them another whirl on 03/04.

Give a whirl to the forum header too, while you're at it.

Welcome to LLM. You've just taken the first step to understanding what we're about (in bold above). Have a look at the forum header and the guidelines
