2015-16

12 players in (£1.2m) - including the first of my promising youngsters who didn't make it - I've kept tabs on them all, and after selling an AM to Everton for £1m 3 years ago, I bought him back for £300k after he was transfer listed.

21 players out (£10.75m)

CL:

R1: Seeded, beat Sheriff of Moldova 9-4 on agg.

R2: Seeded, beat FH of Iceland 8-0 on agg, my homegrown star SC scoring all eight (3&5)

R3: Unseeded v Real Madrid. Drew a tight home leg 0-0. My aforementioned SC put me in front after 8 mins of the away leg. 1-1 at HT. They had 15 shots to my 6, but I ended up 2-1 winners

Group E (Porto, Blackburn, Inter).

Some quite amazy results, so I'll list them
Porto (a) 2-2
Blackburn (h) 2-0
Inter (h) 0-2
Inter (a) 0-5 (could have been 10)
Porto (h) 9-1 (unbeilvably 7-0 at HT - and I missed a pen - star striker scored 4)
Blackburn (a) 3-3

Came 2nd, behind Inter after finishing level with Blackburn

1st Round: v Barcelona. Lost at home 1-0 and away 4-1, pretty comfortably.

Premier Cup: Lost 2-1 to Taffs Well in the Quarter Final

Challenge Cup: Beat Aberystwyth 2-0 in the Final

Welsh Cup: Beat Goytre 2-1 in the Final

WPL: 1st, 19pts clear of Porthmadog - I was 2nd til after xmas, they had a great 1st half of the season. p34 26-7-1 pts85

Wales

Beat Azerbaijan, drew with Latvia, but lost to France and Croatia again, finishing a disappointing 3rd. The FA are still keeping me on, and I have Germany, Latvia, Serbia, Malta, Turkey and Andorra in my WC2018 qualifying group.

I am so inconsistent against the top teams I can either play superbly or get hammered. TNS now ranked 85th, and the Welsh ranking is rising too, I might go in at the 2nd qualifying round this season.

Still a mass exodus of players though - but my star striker is still happy after 4 seasons, and he is now a 'Cultured Striker'

Ground capacity now up to 6,500 and rising

Good lord. KUTGW Phil

(shame you didn't finish 3rd in the CL for the UEFA cup spot, though...)

Well yes, that;s what I was thinking tbh. It's like when I was thinking 2nd place in the league would be better than 1st for the UEFA spot, but on a grander scale.
