2014-15

16 players in (£1.3m)
11 players out (£3.5m)

CL:

R1: seeded, beat Shamkir of Azerbaijan 5-1 on agg

R2: unseeded, beat Austria Vienna 3-1 on agg

R3: drawm against Deportivo. 2-0 down after 19mins of the away leg, absolutely hammered, but 2-0 was how it stayed. 0-0 at HT of the 2nd leg. Then: Goal (49), Goal (59), Goal (73), Goal (89). 4-0. to TNS. Unbelievable!

Group G: Drawn against Levski Sofia, Panathaniakos and Milan. Not bad. Beat Levski 4-1 (h). Lost to PAO 0-2 (a). Drew with Milan 0-0 (a) - after they were down to 9 men . Beat Milan 3-1 (h) Lost to Levski 1-5 (a).

Went into the final game home to the Greeks - a win would see me through, anything else would probably see me bottom. 0-0 at HT amazingly meant all teams were level on 8pts - my GD meant I was bottom. 2 second half goals won me the game 2-0 and I finished top, going though with Milan

1st Knockout round: v Liverpool. Lost 1-0 at home, pretty comfortably. Away leg - 0-0 at HT - then 2 goals in ten mins, meant I was 2-1 up with the away goal advantage However, they bombarded me, and scored on 76 and 79 so I went out 3-2

Challenge Cup: beaten 5-4 on pens by Aberystwyth (after ten pens each ) in the Final after a 2-2 draw.

Welsh Cup: beat Aberystwyth 4-3 on pens in the Final after a 2-2 draw (only 6 pens each this time)

Premier Cup: lost 1-0 to Premiership Cardiff in the Final

WPL: 1st, 33pts ahead of Newtown. p34 29-3-2 pts90

Wales:

Beat Azerbaijan and Latvia in the WC qualifiers but lost to Croatia and France (twice). Pretty much out, unless results go my way.

Well! That's raised my expectations a bit. Problem is, the vast majority of my players want to leave for bigger clubs after about 3-4 seasons, so I can't keep a settled squad. I'm going to keep going, but it's getting a bit frustrating losing players all the time.

TNS are now ranked 121st in Europe and are seeded in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the CL next season

Oh, and the final player left from the original squad, a DC retired at the age of 34 after about 14 seasons and around 400 games.

You must be reaching the highest possible level by now. What odds on the board sacking you when you fail to qualify for the CL league stages next season.

Cheers guys

No danger of the sack, the board's ambitions is still limited to 'challenging for the title'

Champions of England:

05 & 06 Chelsea
07 Liverpool
08 Arsenal
09 Man Utd
10 & 11 Chelsea
12 & 13 Man Utd
14 & 15 Liverpool

No great surprises, although Blackburn and Palace are in the CL this season
