Dr hook you have pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as i am concerened. I only really play about a half dozen different games regularly most are puzzle games with FM06 on my laptop and halo 2 online on xbox are the 2 I play the most. From these two i get the most enjoyment from FM06 and i get instant gratification from H2 online

That's interesting, Ian. I agree with that assessment (though I would be one of the exceptions to that rule), and I am curious as to why you think that is? Is is that Llamas are largely European and hence more likely to be left-leaning? Is it that footie doesn't appeal to conservatives/rightists in the main? Fascinating, Jim.
I think it's got a lot to do with fairness, to be honest. Left-sided politics tend to deal with social equatability, human rights, etc...an inbuilt feeling of all being equal and everyone being treated equally, with no inbuilt or unfair advantage given to anyone.
Play life that way, it follows that you play FM the same way.
Lots of LLaMas are from Australia, Canada, the USA or even New Jersey, so I wouldn't say it's only Europeans.
Like Ian said, what we do here isn't anything imposed on us. It's just our style. Even if we wouldn't know this forum, I bet that most of us (if not all of us) would still say no to cheating, supertactics or whatever.
So, if you take the thought a step further, it is not surprising that people with similar personalities when it comes to how to play a game (ethically correct, non-cheating) also have similar characteristics when it comes to other habits. Honesty. Tolerance. Respect.
And when it comes to tolerance, most tolerant people are found more on the left side, politically, although there are examples.

Fixed. And what Cosmo said in the rest of his post.
To back up Ian's and Oli's points, I'm on the right when it comes to politics. That said, I know when something being done by the right (Bush in Iraq) is wrong. I'm not blind, I can form my own opinions. The left have some great ideas, and some horrible ones, just as the right does.
I believe in fairness and equality, though. I officiate footie, and I believe that everyone in life should be treated with the same respect.
In fairness to Dr. Hook, though, he did say that LLaMas are predominantly European, which is true.
