I just got hit by the superkeeper thing too, mine
Game v Boca Juniors at home. We play all over them in the 1st half, Right foot of god scores a brace, we lead 2-0 at halftime. 2nd half Boca go more attacking, I can feel my ass going pucker pucker.For 45 minutes we are stuck mostly in our Penalty area, attack after attack, shots coming from everywhere, even their central defenders are having a crack. My 22yo Brazilian Goalie has the game of his short career, I saw him make at least 3 triple saves in this game, scores a 10 MoM, gets carried off the field by my team, our 1st ever victory over Boca Jrs. After this game he goes back to being his usual crap self and lets some awful side score 3 against us in the next game.Superkeepers are a myth, from 1 game to next they go from brilliant to total crap in a flash

Superkeepers are a big myth.

Every once in a while a ordinary keeper has a awesome game and is unbeatable. It happens in real life and it happens in FM.

When I see keeper mysteriously enter a phone booth and exit with his undies on the outside I believe you but until then it's a myth.

boudewijn, I respectfully disagree.

All I can say is that having played about 9 seasons in 6.0.2 (pre my conversion to LLM) I say maybe 1 opponent goalie scoop MoM.

Immediately after installing 6.0.3, it happened 10 times in about 30 games - seriously.

I'd never considered the aquaplaning thing before - maybe in 6.0.3 the AI's preferred method of screwing you over is the superkeeper, compared to something else (anyone?) in 6.0.2.
