This is true, it happens to me just about every season though some episodes are fairly short. What gets me is that it often feels like the game is bound and determined that YOU WILL LOSE, and thus the crazy stuff associated with the aquaplaning phenomenon: superkeepers in the other goal, your perfect discipline defender getting sent off twice in a row, a horde of conceded penalties, the backpass that goes into your goal, or right to the opposition forward with a clear shot at the net, and so forth and so on, ad infinitum.

Have you been reading my mind, Doc?

I know exactly the games you mean. The other team scores early on, generally totally against the run of play, then no matter what you do they hold out for a win.

You may miss a penalty, you may have a player sent off, you may lose a player through injury having made all your replacements...or you may not, but you know you're going to lose.

No...matter...what.

If you're willing to swallow your LLM pride and visit a thread that includes player names (in tactic screenshots) etc., I've posted a thread on the tactics forum on superkeepers and pointers on how to set them up yourself.

Even if you don't use the ideas in the thread, it does explain why some keepers appear to do so well; and if you know how they work, you can figure out how to beat them too - and where your tactics are going wrong! Because the AI is doing exactly the same to you as I do to the AI.

I won't post a direct link though for fear of being flamed... hopefully I've given you lot enough warning before you go looking for the thread though :p

You shoulfn't have bothered posting all this at all. It's not just player naming that's prohibited here, it's also (and mostly) tipping of any shape or form.

hmm I thought the tips were in the tactic forum - if "tipping" really means "informing others of anything FM related", that should be clearly defined in the rules for posting.

As such I have posted no suggestions on what to do, no player names whatsoever. I leave it to the OP's own discretion whether he wishes to seek out this information. I trust that most of us are responsible adults that are able to evaluate our own actions consciously and with due consideration of our own moral principles. The procedure of finding an unspecific source of information entails conscious decisions on the part of the reader to undertake steps that would certainly result in tipping, but nonetheless seeking out the contentual information (which as I understand it is the actual issue here) cannot occur without the reader actively deciding to do so. I am in no way surprising anyone with information they did not wish to know. The opposite in fact - providing the option that only those who wish to do so can actively seek the information without it being sprung upon them unexpectedly. If it interests you not, search not and ye shall be no wiser.

No tipping means just that. It's clearly stated in the Forum Header (when people can be bothered to read) and includes tipping of any kind.

Telling someone where they can find tips on how to beat the "superkeeper" is equal to saying how in here.

No tipping. Period.

Don't do it in here again.

No it's not the strikers. I am playing two games, Real Madrid and Breidablik and it doesn't matter if it's the strike force. The Goalies stopping ability is absurdly good in 6.0.3
