I have found over over 6 season that my first three goalkeepers never played well enough to be the sole reason we've won points. However, my current goalkeeper has on a couple of occassions been the reason, so maybe you people just have goalkeepers who are pants?

Also, I have rarely found the opposition goalkeepers unbeatable in goals. Normally when I dominate and lose it's because my strikers either miss the goals completely or hit their shots straight at the keepers. Invarible my defence then makes a mistake and we lose. Its because my team have played badly not because of the oppostion keeper.

I think people should stop blaming loses on super goalies and except that they are crap managers!

That's where I'm probably going wrong. You save and go down the pub: I continue, open a couple of bottles of wine and try managing the Old Big 'ead way.

People who moan about superkeepers usually overload the attacking side of the game...[/sweeping generalisation]

Me? I've got a more Benitezsque aproach to the game resulting in my keepers appearing to be superkeeper-like as the greek poof will of xure testify

Of xure. Defensive Midfielders are oft referred as that bugger who ain't good for defending neither attacking.
