Actually Liam I did consider that but there was a part of me that thought I shouldn't as it was a bit of an odd one but I supose you are right. I comma isn't grammatically wrong, but a colon is better!

You could be right there Ian. What is it that wewak says about if at first you don't succeed?

I guess I'll go back to posting single smilies again. It might be annoying but it's hard to get it wrong!

The better way to write it would be to say that this was his first time as an LLM manager and he thought he'd try a challenge. He's playing as a side in ECN: is that LLM?

Oh, and I still think the colon is the appropriate grammatical clause here. To use a Lynne Truss simplification, you'd use a colon as if you were to use an "ah - " as a gap. So you could rewrite poo's statement as "I'm playing as a side in the English Conference North - ah, but is that Lower League Management?"
