After last years surprise promotion I felt sure this would be a very tough season. My ass mans assessment of the team didn’t do much to raise my confidence nor did the one point from my first couple of games. Without changing anything or buying anyone new my young guns suddenly clicked and went on a 9 game winning streak. Once that winning streak was done we lost a couple of matches in a row and then went on another streak not losing a game for something like 16 games. We ended up winning the league by 8 points

Fans’ favourite since the start of this save has been a striker. No changes this year a player that I bought for a mere 95K was now valued at a staggering 1.2 Million. In 32 League games he scored 13 goals had 17 assists and 4 Mom of the Match awards. Average rating 7.50.

Now I have to say I was a bit ****ed off with the Basingstoke fans. We get ourselves up to Div 1 starting with a home game and only 642 turn up for the match. Next home game we get the same turnout. Third home game the rumor must have spread and we had 3500 at the game and finally for our 4th home match 5995 fans almost filling our 6000 capacity ground. Now I believe that it is the average crowd for the year that decides whether the board will increase the ground size so come on boys turn up wearing your blue and yellow and get behind your team!!

As it happens I don’t have the money to increase the size of the ground so it is not a problem yet but I did notice the attendance for out first match in Div 2 was **** poor also. Anybody else have this?
