Frank05 spitted at me to take control of PS Mitra Kutai Kertanegara or just Mitra in the Indonesian First Division Region II.
Loaded up all playable divisions from China, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Holland.
Too bad the startdate was set on juli 23rd. The Indonesian season runs from februari till august. I had 3 games remaining to keep us up. Won the 1st, drew the second and won the last to secure 7th place.
Season 2005, Indonesian First Divsion Region II
7th place, P18 W5 D6 L7, Pts21 GF23 GA 26.
Cup? Out when I joined.
Board expected me to stay clear of relegation. There were just 2 bad teams in the league who got relegated (they both got 4 points from me :o ) and the rest was almost even to eachother. When there were just 4 games left to play the difference between 1st and 7th place was just 2 points.
Too bad we lost our rather good from by then so we coudn't challenge for the play-offs. A 90th minute penalty in out final match secured a 4th place finish.
Season 2006, Indonesian First Division Region II
4th, P18, W8 D3 L7 pts27 GF23 GA 21 .
Cup: 2nd round, 1-4 agg. to Persekaba (IFD2)
Board again expected us to stay clear of relegation, again the league was a tight affair (except the winner who didn't lose a match). Poor form in the last couple of games meant we finished 4th once again. We stormed the cup to finish 4th in it. Yes, in the Indonesian Cup there is a 3rd place playoff.

League: 4th, P18, W7 D3 L8 pts24 GF27 GA 22 .
Cup: 3rd place playoff, Persib (IPL1) 3-0 Mitra
The usual, stay clear, blabla. Trainingsfacilities improved, signed a few, lost a few, topped the league, did well in the cup that cost me the league of course, same as last season tbh.

League: 4th, P18, W7 D3 L8 pts24 GF23 GA 19 .
Cup: 3rd place playoff, Persijap (IPL2) 2-1 Mitra
4th Place is getting boring Looking for another club, unsuccesfull so far.
3 Times a 4th places is getting boring, resigned from Mitra, applied around some, got offered the Persim Maros helm.
Board asked midtable, so I set a goal to finish at least above 4th place. Did that, we even qualified for playoffs :eek: And the worst part: we got promoted as a bonus :eek: Premier Division baby \o/
