Ive been playing Maidenhead for 5 seasons now. I got them promoted to Conf Nat. I've slowly started to sign players to full time contracts. Two seasons ago, I decided to sack my physio as he sucked. The most my board would allow me to pay for a new one was 30ps. For 2 years, I've been out a physio because despite running the same frigging ad for 2 years, I can't get any lowly unemployed, on the dole physios to apply. So I went to the staff search screen to find one. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or not, but I can't believe that a COnf Nat team would have THAT much trouble finding a physio. I did find one at 30p.s. so I hired him.
Was I wrong in this case? Because I have the same problem with a coach. IF its not Llama then I won't do it...I'm feeling find of guilty, like a teenager caught with his pants down
As long as you hire a realistic physio (i.e. local), using staff search to find one is perfectly OK. We know the Job Centre is a great idea, but it sucks arse.
The job center is crap. I think most Llamas use the staff search to look for staff... That said you deserve to be flayed for the spelling in the thread name "I ay"
I normally try the job centre first. If it only throws up weirdos (and it normally does) I use the staff search and search for the same reputationa as my team. Does the trick for me.
I use the job centre but if I get unrealistic responses, then I use the search function to find someone with the lowest possible reputation and willing to work for a very low wage.
