Pass. I have a big enough task on my hands keeping my first team "stars" in check. I leave my reserve squad to one of my assistants, they get paid for that.

So far as I know, never having tried myself, you have to tick the box taking charge of the reserves and then the friendles arranged should be honoured.

Nevet had the time to try it myself. But you do enable it like Ian said.

Just have your reserve team play your youth team once a week. That's what I do whenever I'm managing a Conference N/S side, since the reserve and youth teams in those leagues don't have set fixture schedules.

Could be an English-specific thing, though. In my games nothing needs being ticked and yet I can arrange fixtures for the reserves, which is good, btw, as in Bulgaria there is no reserves league. Perhaps there is a conflict of schedules there?
