I feel sad that Colchester went up - but only because out of all the top 7, we played our best games against them. Our manager hates their manager, too. But we hate him, so everything's alright

I'm thrilled that MK Dung were relegated, not only because they're the epitome of evil in British football (IMHO) but because we have a better chance of bringing the loan striker we had from them at the back end of the season in on a permanent basis.

Is there any Carshalton fans out there?
Sad, cos they have been relegated this season, but was there a sinister plot being played between sutton and hayes?
How surprising was it that sutton managed to lose, knowing that a win for hayes, would condem carshalton to the dreaded drop.

I don't see how you can complain about the last game of the season. If Carshalton went down it was because of their poor results over the season not the final game!

I'm another who sheds no tears whatsoever for MK Dons - in fact I'd have been gutted if they'd relegated Rotherham instead on Saturday.

I do feel very sorry for Canvey Island fans as they are rumoured to be resigning from the Conference and dropping down several levels, as the Chairman doesn't want to bankroll the club any more. Fair enough, but why not just stay in the Conference, spending within their limited means on the playing budget, and if relegation follows then so be it? I don't understand why he just wants to throw in the towel.

Maybe so, but you got to look at it from a level playing field.
just like spurs/arsenal yesterday for 4th place, who knows!

Still, the only thing that will make things brighter is, when Watford win promotion to the prem!

I live in Sutton and you'd be surprised at the rivalry between the two clubs, considering no-one seems to support anyone other than Chelsea in the area.

Sutton did lose to a last minute goal I suppose, but they've not exactly had a great season themselves.

Regarding Canvey Island, I read the other day that their chairman/manager is going to become the new manager (not chairman) of nearby Chelmsford City and taking half the playing staff with him.
If that's true then it would cripple Canvey and resigning from the Conference would save their reserve/youth team from getting dicked every week.

Shame for Canvey's fans and the club itself. Not what they deserve at all.
