Do people here generally play with the club or their own career generally in mind? It's a choice we oftern have to make on the game: is the latest job offer too good to turn down. After all, with playing the game as realistically as possible in mind, no matter what the attatchment to a particular club, there is always going to be a job offer too good to turn down. I have read in some threads that people's specific aim is to take a particular club all the way, but do people play with the sole aim of (realistically) taking their own career as far as possible?
I have total loyalty to the Club who hire me...until another Club come along who'll pay me more.
Managers are in the job for the money, there are very few, if any, who manage for the love of the Club, therefore to me it's realistic to go to the biggest paymaster.
That said I'd probably never leave a Club 'til I'd completed at least two seasons.
I tend to stay at a club until I feel I've hit the glass ceiling. Not usually in terms of money (as in real life, I don't tend to pay too much attention to money besides 'Do I Have Any?') but in terms of promotions/European qualification.
I'll also rarely take a job where there is an expectation of immediate success. If the club is progressing, I assume I am. Plus, my management style really doesn't lend itself well to immediate success.
Really depends on how you are playing the game, in my Basingstoke save I have been there for almost 20 years and would not dream of leaving the club, so basically the club is top priority, I will be nipping over to Brazil shortly to start a career mode game where I fully intend to manage in several different clubs and will be ready to jump ship at a moments notice.
Personally I tend to accept most better job offers unless I have a particular attraction to the club formed either by being there for a substantial amount of time, or because I support them (so Liverpool, Crewe, Basingstoke, S****horpe (don't ask), and Oldham (really don't ask!))
In my current save, I was very loyal to any club that hired me - even to the state of lashing out at speculation that I'd move. Later on, I wanted success by moving to a club that would provide it.

Scunthorpe because in the first incarnation of CM that I played, the kit made me laugh as it was pink and light blue and Oldham because they were the non-premiership club I ever managed. (I got sacked and they offered me a job )
