In my long save I didn't plan to take the club from bottom to top, but when I got closer and closer to the Premier I decided to stay at least until I would have finished a season in the Premier if I made it hat far without getting sacked.

Obviously you can't say it! It's got cnut in it.
I've really got no loyalty to my club, if a better offer comes along, I jump at it.

I think the most realistic is to leave, to a better supported club, once you don't see any point in staying in the current club anymore. That's how I play. The other club's contract offer is not very important, to me.

| Agree totally - until you get to a club you can't bear to leave - usually as you know they are on the brink of winning it all |

Usually I stay at a club until I feel I've reached the most I can achieve with it (be it not getting relegated, getting into League football or going all the way with them), but I've also been known for taking some stupid challenging jobs or saving some 'I have a soft spot for them' club from complete failure.

In my last two saved games, I began with a plan to build up a Spanish Segunda B club, but to eventually spend my entire career in Spain, possibly with stints in the Segunda A and the Primera, which could mean changing jobs. Now, if I could take a Segunda B club all the way to the top, that would be great, but the promotion playoff system makes it very difficult to make that first move upward.
I'm in the fifth season of my current saved game, and if we fail to earn promotion for the third straight year, despite making the playoffs, then I'll have to start applying for jobs in the Segunda A.

I have to say that I'm quite a spineless manager. I often press the resign button when I'm in trouble which is usually after a surprisingly successful season. As for job offers. I might need somone to explain what that is
Loyalty to a save is pretty much the same. I tend to contemplate starting a new save every other day (even now). I tend to start it up play a few games and decide that it's a waste of time and return to the save that's derived from the challenge
So in a way I'm loyal to that save, I just need to occasionally be reminded why I love it |

I tend to stick to the club I started until I get the boot or conditions become unbearable. Like when I was playing with FC Honka in Finland leagues on 700 all seater losing money all the time and couldn't upgrade. Still, I put everything I could into that club and then got the sack on unlimatum.

I tend to go for the 'take the club as far as they can go' approach, but will change jobs when it becomes apparent that they can go no further. Sometimes that might be not getting relegated or promoted after 5-6 seasons, for some clubs that's a success. I think that's a big improvement in recent editions of FM, in previous editions it was only a matter of time before you got your conference club into the champions league.

I'm currently managing Mosonmagyaróvár in Hungary, approaching the end of the sixth season and after four years in Division 2, we got promoted and then last year finished third in the top flight and won the FA Cup (I know, I know. ) Normally, I would be wanting to take these as far as I can into Europe and whatever, but this season has been a nightmare. None of my players who are out of contract and that I consider as automatic first choicers want to re-sign. On top of that I have three of my players wanting to leave, so I would say that 10 or 11 of my squad of 23 aren't happy.
I would consider this a challenge to get others into replace them, but to be honest, it's been a slog this season, results not going our way, etc, so I am considering jacking the game in. I couldn't manage another side in Hungary, that's for sure and as I only had Slovakia and Austria open too, there's no real want to go abroad.
Usually, the team I pick is the one I stick with, it's not often I sit down with a career mode in mind
